Thanks for visiting our site.

After operating our Farmstay since 1988, we have decided to close the gate.

We extend our thanks to all the guests who have visited over the years and become part of our wide family circle. We have been very fortunate indeed to have met and shared our lives with an incredible number of wonderful people. It is particularly gratifying and somewhat humbling to know that these people have visited Old Boyneside from all corners of the earth, from an amazing 33 different countries!

As we have always said, it’s been like travelling the world without leaving home, as the understanding, mutual respect and learning of and from each other has put the gloss on an already stimulating business.

We apologize to those who are disappointed by our decision but the nettle had to be grasped at some stage.

We hope to keep this site open and to contribute some reflections and musings which some might find interesting and even useful.
